Prototype

The main station building and train shed at Moretonhampstead, Devon, a branch line terminus station on the Great Western Railway. A very similar building existed at Ashburton.

Scale: 4mm:1ft (1:76)

Finish: Unweathered

Source: Accurate scale model scratchbuilt from plastic sheet, both plain and embossed. Roof trusses from brass wire. Details such as lamps, signs and noticeboards were to be added by the customer.
