Some of my components are specified in terms of an angle of slope, such as the roof angle for my ridge tiles. This page is to help you convert linear measurements into angle of slope, or vice versa. The angle is in degrees, but the units of the linear measurements don't matter, so long as they are all the same. However, if you want to work in feet and inches, you will either have to use decimal feet or decimal inches, not a mixture of the two.
The diagram on the right illustrates the dimension values involved. You can specify any two values and the calculator will produce the remainder.
